Oh yeah, also, Gantz is the kind of story that isn’t scared of killing of its characters. The movie only shows, probably, the first three or four missions (haven’t finished watching it yet) but if I remember correctly, *SPOILERS* after the third or fourth mission, the best friend dies, so the main character tries to get 100 points to resurrect him. Yeah, and at some point the main character dies and the best friend returns the favour.

I know this is a manga, but you gotta admit, if you know about the story, it’s a genius piece of science-fiction. I recently bought the live-action movie, and I’ve read the first 70 or so chapters of the manga. So far it’s following the manga quite closely. To the point that the suits look exactly like they did in the manga. Here’s the blurb just so you can see for yourself the genius of it all.

“Two youths are hit by a train in an attempt to save a homeless man’s life. The pair awaken in a mysterious apartment, where they learn they now belong to ‘Gantz’, an enigmatic spherical entity. Gantz outfits them with super powered suits and advanced weaponry, before sending them on numerous game-like missions where they receive points for killing aliens. 100 points will allow them to leave this purgatory like place or send someone else back to life. If they fail, they can perish forever…”

Genius, right? Freaking exciting as hell too.

Apparently, I complained too much and do not appreciate it when other people cook food. I do appreciate, I mean, it’s food! But I appreciate people cooking food when it’s GOOD food.

Unfortunately, tonight, my brother has managed to make Mi Goreng…not nice. I thought it was impossible to do so. I thought bloody wrong.

Recently, I bought Relient K’s “The Bird and the Bee Sides”. Now, this is actually two different sets of songs. “The Nashville Tennis EP”, as the title says, it’s an EP (a surprisingly long EP at that) and “The Bird and the Bee Sides”, a collection of rarities and demos.

Both sets of songs have beautiful lyrics. And I have a clear one from “The Nashville Tennis EP”. It’s called “Curl Up and Die”. Here are the lyrics:
